Sekolah Tinggi Islam Kendal menyadari sepenuhnya bahwa perguruan tinggi harus memberikan layanan akademik yang bermutu kepada stakeholders. Layanan akademik yang bermutu harus dilandasi dengan sistem manajemen mutu akademik yang baik. Salah satu sistem manajemen mutu berstandar internasional yang dapat diterapkan pada berbagai aspek termasuk layanan akademik di perguruan tinggi adalah Sistem Manajemen Mutu . Penerapan Sistem Manajemen Mutu diharapkan mampu mendorong terselenggaranya layanan akademik yang sehat, sehingga proses pembelajaran menjadi efektif dan efisien, menghasilkan lulusan yang kompeten dan kompetitif serta mampu bersaing di tingkat nasional dan internasional.
Manual Mutu ini menjadi pedoman utama dalam mengimplementasikan Sistem Manajemen Mutu Internal (SPMI) di lingkungan Sekolah Tinggi Islam Kendal.
